This is a commonly asked question that I like to answer as follows, why not? A website is effectively a spokesperson for your business, it can communicate what you would like to tell visitors to your website about your business when you can’t.
I’ll make an example, at this very moment you are reading this article I am probably speaking to a new client, explaining the advantages and disadvantages of why they should build a website. Effectively, I will be speaking to two people at once and this has only been possible because of my website and this article. To put it into perspective, let’s say that 10 people wanted to know more about what I do at the same time, I could be on the phone speaking to one and the other nine could be looking at my website. What if 100 people wanted to speak to me at once about what I offered, can you see where this going? |
